This past Februraruruary, I attended a National Caricature Network (NCN) caricature mini-convention in Ohio. http://caricature.org/ It was a gathering of about 80 caricaturists from around the country to have an absolute blast drawing each other and having a grand time. It was so much fun. I got a chance to meet (and draw) some amazing artists that I've been fans of and who have been inspirational to me. I've learned a lot from looking at their art from afar/on the net and it's helped me, this being my 1st year being as a live caricature artist.
The style I use here is my more "me" style as opposed to my park/live sketch.
<--that's Jeremy and one of my favorite caricatures I've done. I put his face in his lips, heh.
^ the ice/rock face/yellow background is of Aaron Philby, who I'm a huge fan of, check out his work! now!http://www.aaronphilby.blogspot.com/

Hey man! Awesome work as always! Your style is similar to Picasso (in that it takes forms of a person and accentuates or changes, but still remains the person), except with a more cartoony feel to it. I never really understood why his work is so popular, but see your work progress into what it is kind of explains a little. You got mad skills.
cant believe i missed the calaberation of Brian, thats really cool, hope to see more crazyness like that, im impressed. Goin to the con?
josh- thanks, man! yeah, I definitely want to keep pushing it more into the picasso realm, but not too much :)
